What materials are your pieces made from?
All our jewellery is made from stainless steel, and the majority of our pieces feature PVD plating for extra durability, tarnish resistance and water resistance.
Will my jewellery tarnish or discolour?
PVD plating is significantly more durable than traditional plating. With proper care, your pieces will maintain their finish. We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to perfume, chlorine and harsh chemicals.
What is PVD plating?
PVD stands for Physical Vapour Deposition. It is an advanced vacuum-coating process that creates a highly durable, sweat-resistant and tarnish-proof finish.
Is your jewellery waterproof?
Our pieces are water-resistant, meaning they can handle everyday exposure like washing your hands, getting caught in the rain.
How do I care for my jewellery?
Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wearing. Store pieces individually to avoid scratching. Put your jewellery on last, after perfume, hairspray and moisturiser.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
All orders arrive in branded packaging, ready to gift.
How long will delivery take?
UK orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days. Standard delivery typically takes 3–5 working days. International delivery times vary by destination.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International shipping is available at checkout to the EU. Please note that customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country, these are the responsibility of the customer.
How much is shipping?
UK standard shipping is £3.99. Orders over £50 qualify for free UK shipping. International rates are calculated at checkout.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.
What is your returns policy?
You have 14 days from receiving your order to request a return. Items must be unworn, unused, with tags attached and in original packaging. Earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons unless faulty. Email us at hello@wearebayes.com to start a return.
Can I exchange an item?
The quickest way is to return your item and place a new order once the return is accepted.
My order arrived damaged or incorrect, what do I do?
Contact us immediately at hello@wearebayes.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. We'll sort it out.
Do you offer refunds?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of approval. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note, earrings are non-refundable.
Are your pieces suitable for sensitive skin?
Stainless steel is hypoallergenic and one of the most skin-friendly metals available, making it a good option for those with sensitivities. That said, if you have a known metal allergy, we'd recommend consulting your dermatologist.
